Like A Child - Jars of Clay

Dear God, surround me as I speak,
the bridges that I walk across are weak
Frustrations fill the void that I can't solely bear
Dear God, don't let me fall apart,
you've held me close to you
I have turned away and searched for answers I can't understand

They say that I can move the mountains
And send them crashing into the sea
They say that I can walk on water
If I would follow and believe
with faith like a child

Sometimes, when I feel miles away
and my eyes can't see your face
I wonder if I've grown to lose the recklessness
I walked in light of you

"I've got joy like a fountain!"
"Be kind one to others"
"In Jesus Christ Your son"

They say that love can heal the broken
They say that hope can make you see
They say that faith can find a Savior
If you would follow and believe
with faith like a child

Quote of the Day

The pursuit of peace and progress cannot end in a few years in either victory or defeat. The pursuit of peace and progress, with its trials and its errors, its successes and its setbacks, can never be relaxed and never abandoned.

A Prayer For The Stressed

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I cannot accept and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those I had to kill today because they got on my nerves.
And help me to remember...when I am having a bad day it takes 42 muscles to frown, 28 muscles to smile and only four to extend my arm and smack someone in the mouth. Amen.

so finally, the big news

well, if you haven't heard, i have some big news: after living in split, croatia for 3 1/2 years, i'm moving back to the USA to get my bachelor's degree in business. it has been a long decision-making process, but i am excited about this next part of my life. this is one of the reasons i haven't been posting much, that and the fact i've travelled so much this summer and had stuff going on. hopefully, i'll be able to use this blog again more and fill you in with all the oh-so-exciting (not) details of my life. so....stay tuned...haha!!
