Wearing a wedding ring can be a *#!%-ing difficult thing when you've been on a missionary budget for years and you lose your ring while swimming at the Zlatni Rat. I'm saving my money to buy a new one. But at this rate, Lindsay and I will have our 50th wedding anniversary before I can pony up for a new one. Maybe the person you're addressing in this post has a similar story???

Hehe... that's hilarious. My best friend is married and he's constantly misplacing his wedding ring... his wife gets on him for it, but mostly she just rolls her eyes.

By the way, I see you're in Colorado... my best friend and I are both born and raised there... north of Denver, close to Boulder...

Did you know a guy named Tennison in MSI/EN?

sprocket,

i'm about an hour or so from boulder and had heard that there was a an EN churh/campus ministry there at CU. when i first moved back to the area (i grew up here too), i emailed EN to get details on the church so i could check it out, but (thankfully) i never heard back from them. so, i still do not know if EN has anything there or not.

as far as tennison goes, i remember him from when he was on the CU football team, but i didn't know him personally. wasn't he a part of some sort of magic group with that one guy? can't remember his name...they did some cool tricks though.

thanks for your comment!

My husband's got some kind of funky skin condition on his ring finger, can't wear his.

Elton - excuses, excuses! My silver wedding ring from James Avery cost about $30. My husband's was not more than $50-$70. Hey, he's not using his ring right now, want to borrow it?

Renegade - I knew Tennyson vaguely. I'm reading your blog. I'll email you. Or post comments.

Davida - I see from this post - and the one which you posted and apparently took down, An Interesting List, that you have found Factnet. Or it has found you. We should talk.

mommy blawger - maybe having a $30 dollar ring is why your hubbie has a skin condition on his finger. anyway, i have a limited budget - and I can't watch football games on a wedding ring.
